This country house hotel is situated on the edge of the Lake District near to Whitehaven. The Ennerdale is a delightful grade II listed building on the edge of the Copeland forest and close to the Lake District.
The hotel comprises 30 individually designed en suite bedrooms, a la carte restaurant, contemporary bar and lounge, conference rooms and a fabulous function suite for weddings.

Each room has satellite TV, CD player, PlayStation 2, trouser press, hairdryer, telephone with modem point and tea and coffee making facilities.
Our single rooms are cosy and warm with each having its own video, music and entertainment systems. making it the ideal place to relax on your own.
Each twin has its own comfy feeling with plenty of space to move around.
These rooms are the very best in the house, with stunning views of our gardens and the local countryside. A bottle of champagne on ice awaits you in the room. Choose a romantic DVD from our selection to watch in the room, or just relax in the comfort of the large four-poster bed with some light music.
These rooms are on our exclusive ground floor with breathtaking views of the gardens and the local hills. Within the rooms are TV, video and music systems. We also have a Playstation 2 in each room with a selection of games and movies for rent.
Family Rooms are located on the ground floor. Each has a double bed and a single bed, with the option of a fold down bed for larger families.

Junction 40 m6 Penrith Take A66 to Cockermouth. At roundabout leading to Cockermouth take left hand exit on A5086 to Egremont. Follow road for approximately 20 minutes through Cleator and Cleator Moor, hotel on left hand side coming out of Cleator.
